About Me
I grew up in Miami, Florida. Not the glamorous parts of the city but miles away from the beach and downtown, in a suburb neighboring the swampy everglades. I was a working-class high school dropout for many years before I returned to school. After getting my GED and receiving my two-year degree from a local community college, I attended the University of Southern California where I studied primarily at the School of Dramatic Arts. I received my bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and a minor with the School of Cinematic Arts in Screenwriting. I am a classically trained actor and company member at equity house theater Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum where I perform on stage, teach workshops for visiting students, and occasionally write and assistant direct. In 2025, I created my own grassroots theatre company called “Grey Castle Theater” that produces Shakespeare among other classical works from Chekov to Moliere, with contemporary interpretations, all done outdoors in backyards and public parks.
I am an aspiring filmmaker. I wrote, directed, and produced my debut short film in 2024. I’ve written tv pilots, created show bibles, and continue to pursue film and television at every angle, from directing to editing. I love all aspects of storytelling and aim to connect my love for theater with the exciting and fast-paced magic of television.
My written work often delves into the complexities of women’s issues, exploring the raw and
gritty realities of human existence. I am captivated by the darker sides of life, yet I infuse my
narratives with a light sense of humor, revealing the resilience and beauty that can emerge from
struggle. I am drawn to big, messy ugly stories populated by imperfect characters; it is in their
flaws that we find our shared humanity.
Influenced by my love of Shakespeare and the punk rock aesthetic, I strive to create a unique
blend of high art and rebellious spirit. I love writing about love in all the many shapes it takes in
our lives. My love stories are rooted in a profound belief in the goodness of people and the
potential for redemption in even the most chaotic of lives. Through my work, I seek to illuminate
the complexities of love and connection, celebrating the messiness of life while reminding us of
the light that exists within us all.
